Blogmas Day 8: DECORATIONS

ELFLINGS,

EVERYTHING IS SHOUTY TODAY BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS ALL EXCITING SO BOM BOM BOM, THE GREENS ARE FESTIVE. The tree is currently twinkling away whilst the advent candle is burning down, the dog is snoring and I am feeling so very Christmassy.

I absolutely love the day where all the decorations go up, although our realisation today is that we have far too many festive tea light holders but they do look all cosy together (they aren't lit). Surrounded by advent calendars, and little Lindt reindeer and a Santa, and our little ceramic gingerbread house full of Heroes and OH, it is all wonderful. I don't know what it is about the warm glow of the Christmas tree but everything is just instantly 10x cosier and I'm running out of amazing words without sounding like a crazy woman.

After the tree went up I successfully managed to sort my clothes out and there's a bag ready to donate to charity, very productive if I say so myself. Then me and Jack went on an adventure to East Midland's Outlet just for a run out and because Jack had a day off and we managed to get some Christmas presents, so now to wrap those. I also had my 67th (approximate guess) Fudge Hot Chocolate from Starbucks and they spelt my name wrong, as usual, but they did put a little heart after it so I forgave them. Spreading Christmas cheer.

Phrases I Hate

Hey Earthlings! We all have those phrases or quotes or sometimes just words that when we hear them it makes our blood boil and our neck do that funny thing where you kind of go "bleurghuohui". You know what I mean? I've taken a few of them, listed them here and told you exactly why I hate them. Let me know if there's some more you hate. "There's someone out there worse off than you" Yes, this may be the case and I hope they come out of their situation feeling all the joys of spring but just because there is someone out there with more issues than you're feeling, it does not mean your experiences and feelings are invalid. Twenty

Hello Earthlings! As I sit and type this I'm tucked up cosy in bed and listening to the wind batter everything in sight, and it doesn't matter that today I turned 20 because the wind still scares me so I'm still going to tuck up as tight as I can and try my best to ignore it after I've typed this. But, anyway! Hi. Birthdays are a funny thing, you know they're going to happen and you know that you get older but they're a bit odd. When I was little, I looked forward to being a teenager which in itself is completely barmy (maybe I'm the only one intimidated by groups of teenagers...), and I always thought "13 is such a grown up age!!!" because 6 year old me was clearly clueless. Goodbye 2018, Hello 2019

Hello Earthbugs! I'm back and hopefully this upcoming year will be a lot better post wise than 2018, if I tell you the truth I don't really know what happened. Quite a few times during 2018 I felt all out of sorts and not really motivated to do anything, which for me is horrible because I thrive off having a goal to get and so on. Writing has always been a passion of mine and my blog allows me to have my own little space on the internet which I have always loved the idea of so 2019 is definitely the year that I attempt to throw myself back into blogging.
