Hey Earthbugs! In March, me and Jack decided to book a holiday for early June but didn't really know where to book and didn't want to be paying too much money so were clicking around on various websites to look for the best prices and whatnot. Hello Earthlings, From the title it is probably a bit of a giveaway that I will be rambling a bit about my recent trip to Spain, I visited Spain last year and posted about it here but I can promise that it is a bit different this time. I mean, we stayed in the same place and I went with the same person, hey Jack, but we were there longer (2 weeks and 1 day to be precise) so we had chance to explore more. I'm not going to go into insane detail about the places we visited as we just wandered through with no exact plan as it was a nice break. Just stay with me here... La Cala de Mijas itself is located in such a perfect spot, it's a bus ride away from so many places with its own little hub of activity. From the several restaurants dotted around, I recommend Biddy Mulligans Steak and Ale pie, to little shops selling your typical souvenirs to earrings and clothes it really is a little treat. Hello Earthlings, First things first, I want to do a couple of PSAs as I'm aware my blog has been all over the place and not really there recently and I can clear this up for you. Blogging is still something I'm very much interested and I love having my little space on this internet and I'm so grateful that you're reading this right now because recently there's been little to no content. The main reason for this is that my laptop has decided it no longer wants to work properly so I'm currently in the process of trying to transfer all my files onto memory sticks so I can sort a new laptop out which is taking a very long time. How frustrating? So, I'm currently borrowing my Mum's laptop to write this on whilst we get all sorted. Hello Earthlings, So many people had said that Albufeira is beautiful and that I would love it but I was still a bit wary. We booked to come here last September and I've been so excited about it since so I was a little bit nervous, what if I hated it? But as soon as I was on the coach from the airport I knew I would love it. One of my favourite places was definitely the Old Town but I won't go on about that too much as I'm going to dedicate a whole post to the beauty of it. We stayed at Monica Isabel Beach Club and I can't fault the place, sure some aspects of the room were a bit run down but it was nothing compared to the terrible hotel Jack and I stayed at in Paris so to me, it was luxury. Being all inclusive I obviously took advantage of the food and I have to say the chocolate chip cookies that were available at breakfast were heavenly and I may be turning into one... Hello Earthlings, For today's post I thought that I would do a little old school throwback to a ramble but a monthly ramble, I had an idea to do a favourites at the end of one month and then a ramble a the end of the next month and alternate like that so I may continue doing it like that but right now let's not worry about little things like that. Hello Earthlings, This post would have been up last week but in true Lia style I left all my holiday homework until the last day of the holidays, I mean my A-Level exams start at the beginning of June so you would think I'd know better by now. Hello Earthlings, I'm aware that I have disappeared off the face of the blogging Earth but surprise here I am! My absence is down to Jack as he took me for a week away to Paris for my 18th. So I decided to do a little catch up post just about some of my favourite places in the beautiful city of Paris. Eiffel Tower I mean I guess this one is a pretty obvious one, if I had to choose one thing that I was determined to do whilst I was in Paris it would be to go up the Eiffel Tower. I was surprised that it only cost us just over €14 each to go right to the top of the Eiffel Tower yet it was about €18 for us to order the exact same thing in McDonald's as we would here in good old Blighty. I was obviously expecting the view from the top of the Eiffel Tower to be amazing but I wasn't quite expecting it to be  quite as breathtaking as it was. Hello Earthlings, I apologise for the lack of activity in the past week or so, I returned from my adventures last Friday night and was so tired and just wanted to chill so I didn't really get around to writing my blog post so I thought that today I would write you all a lovely post about my recent holiday with Jack to the south of Spain. Before I properly get into that I just want to say thank you to everyone who has ever viewed my blog because as  I logged on today I realised that I'd reached 6090 views which is kind of a big deal to me.
