RECIPE: Melting Cheese and Baked Bean Pie with Sausages

Hello Earthlings, Now before I go on and delve straight into this whole recipe post I want to talk a bit first, well type, but let's be honest that isn't really a surprise. When the new year started, yes all that time ago, I made it one of my new year's resolutions to cook more and I have been doing (I know, I've had nearly 10 months to be doing so) and I really wanted to cook more and start to adapt recipes and put my own mark on them so to speak. I want to do this so they feel more personal to me and so I can then share them on here. The recipe that I am about to tell you lovely people I originally found in the Sainsbury's magazine (September 2017 issue), so if you would like to view the original recipe and see a better looking photograph then follow this link  which will take you to the Sainsbury's website. I mentioned the picture thing because I do need to up my camera skills for these posts but hey, we can't all be multi-talented humans.  This is th

Cosy Catch Up

Hello Earthlings, As I sit here and type this the weather today has been incredibly autumnal and rain has been hammering down all afternoon. The heating kicked in and I have been snuggling in a blanket and chilling after a pretty hectic week as I've a had a busy time starting a new chapter aka three years of debt also known as university. I did find a squirrel though, you know making friends at uni and all that, but then it ran away. Oh, and I got to the platform really early and then nearly missed my train because it came in the station and I was at the wrong platform. I genuinely don't really know how I am a legal ad

Hello Earthlings, From the title it is probably a bit of a giveaway that I will be rambling a bit about my recent trip to Spain, I visited Spain last year and posted about it here but I can promise that it is a bit different this time. I mean, we stayed in the same place and I went with the same person, hey Jack, but we were there longer (2 weeks and 1 day to be precise) so we had chance to explore more. I'm not going to go into insane detail about the places we visited as we just wandered through with no exact plan as it was a nice break. Just stay with me here... La Cala de Mijas itself is located in such a perfect spot, it's a bus ride away from so many places with its own little hub of activity. From the several restaurants dotted around, I recommend Biddy Mulligans Steak and Ale pie, to little shops selling your typical souvenirs to earrings and clothes it really is a little treat. Plus this is all about 2 minutes walk from the beach, everyone's a winner. Whilst w
