What's all the buzz?

Hello Earthlings, I woke up on Tuesday morning last week and my heart sank, I will never understand the thought process that someone goes through to be able to commit such an awful offence. I had hope that everyone who was declared missing would turn up and be okay with some minor injuries at a push, I checked the news at every point I could in the hope that all this news would go away and someone somewhere would have got it horribly wrong. But then they started to name those who had sadly lost their lives and it became even more real, this wasn't some horrible mistake this was very much real and has affected so many people. I had plans to go to Manchester this Saturday, the first Saturday after the horrible devastation, like many others to go and see The Courteeners at their homecoming gig at Old Trafford Cricket Ground to 50,000 being supported by The Charlatans, Blossoms and Cabbage. I had seen many people tweet that they weren't going to go and I understood the apprehen

Walking for Mary

Hello Earthlings, I missed last week and I'm posting late this week, you could say I was a bit of a mess but it is okay I shall agree with you as my mind is currently in a state of "daydream...EXAMS...daydream...EXAMS" so I'm a little bit distracted right now but I do have quite a few posts saved as drafts for me to work on and edit after the 27th June to post. But anyway, I'm writing this post today to give you some little bits of knowledge as to why I'm walking all over cancer in June. For some people I'm sure they're thinking "no big deal" but for me it is because I probably only reach close to that target when I'm at work, meaning it is definitely going to be a little bit challenging.  I'm doing it for a fe

June Ramble

Hello Earthlings, For today's post I thought that I would do a little old school throwback to a ramble but a monthly ramble, I had an idea to do a favourites at the end of one month and then a ramble a the end of the next month and alternate like that so I may continue doing it like that but right now let's not worry about little things like that. So, I'm sure you know this script by now...get yourself a cuppa, some biscuits or cake or anything you fancy really and let us begin this little catch up. I am actually writing from a different location today, and no I do not just mean that I have moved from lying on my bed to sitting on the sofa I mean a full on Chesterfield to Devon move. Not permanently obviously, just Friday to Monday with the parents and it has been really lovely so far. The weather has been good apart from the occasional downpour but you see even those haven't really been the types of downpour to get you soaked...if you know what I am saying
